An advisory evacuation has been lifted for the Sutcliffe community, in the path of the Long Valley Fire. Pyramid Highway has also reopened in both directions, just north of SR-446. The Long Valley fire has burned more than 83,733 acres. Thangh Nguyen is the Long Valley Fire spokesman he says while the progression of the fire has slowed, residents shouldn’t let their guard down. The Long Valley Fire is 40 percent contained.
