The fire crews working to protect Northern Nevada and the Sierra have been moving from one fire to the next, with no time to relax or see their loved ones. While the firefighters are being taken care of with food, beverages and other necessities, they can always use encouragement from the community. Now is your chance to show your appreciation. KOLO 8 News Now will be collecting thank-you cards from the community to deliver to the fire crews. Les Schwab stores in Reno, Sparks and Carson City will be collecting your Thank You notes from now until Friday. The Les Schwab stores will have note cards and pens on hand for you to write your note there.
