OJ Simpson Could be Released From a Nevada Prison This Year

Will OJ Simpson be released from a Nevada Prison on a kidnapping conviction? We’ll know more this week as the former football great gets a parole hearing Thursday. Simpson was sentenced to 33 years in prison, and has served nine years, for trying to steal back sports memorablilia that he says was stolen from him. The victim in that case will apparently come to Lovelock to testify in Simpsons favor. Simpson calls himself a model inmate and parole board members admit he has a “Positive institutional record.” If the board votes to release him, he could be free in October. The deaths of his wife Nicole and Ron Goldman will not be factors in the case, since he was acquitted of murder changes.
