The smoke covering northern Nevada isn’t coming from a local fire, but from the Detwiler Fire in Mariposa County, California. The fire started about 4PM July 16th. As of this morning, 15,500 acres have burned, and the fire is 5% contained. Cal Fire says 300 structures are threatened, with one destroyed. Some evacuations are underway and some roads closed.
