City Wants to Know What You Think of The Updated Master Plan

The City of Reno has released the first draft of its updated Master Plan. City Manager Sabra Newby says, while there is still work to be done, the draft signifies a major step toward adopting a new, comprehensive plan that outlines a path to achieving the community’s vision for our city’s future as Reno continues to grow and evolve over the next 20 to 30 years. This week the public has several more opportunities to give feedback on the draft Master Plan, also known as “ReImagine Reno.” Events this week, will focus on gathering input on the two latest chapters of the plan to be released — the Implementation Plan and Growth and Reinvestment Framework. They are today (Tues) and Wednesday at McKinley Arts & Culture Center 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at Reno City Hall Council Chambers, 3 to 6 p.m. For more information, at reno.gov/reimaginereno
