Divers are working to stunt the growth of invasive plants at Lake Tahoe. they’ve installed more than 100 sun-blocking barriers on the bottom of a lagoon on the south end of the Lake to slow the growth of invasive aquatic plants that have taken over man-made waterways in the Tahoe Keys. The Tahoe Daily Tribune reports the sun barriers are part of a multi-year plan to wipe out the invasive plants.
