The city of Reno is participating in the Bloomberg Philanthropies 2017 Mayors Challenge, and Mayor Hillary Schieve is looking for your ideas so the city can cash in on $5 million.  There’s two requirements for submitting your idea. First, the idea must be brand new, and something that hasn’t been done elsewhere. The other is that it must be able to be duplicated in other cities across the country.  The deadline to submit your idea to the city is 11:59pm August 13th, and you can do that at reno.gov. The city will schedule a special public comments meeting once all ideas have been submitted.
