A suspect has been shot and killed on Calle de la Plata north of Sparks just east of Pyramid Highway. The shooting happened after a vehicle stop, about 10 am August 4th. The Washoe County Deputy involved was not hurt. Another local agency will investigate, according to protocol in these kinds of incidents. The scene is secure.
