The Minerva Fire, which started near Quincy and sent smoke into Northern Nevada for several days, has burned 4,310 acres since starting the morning of July 29th.
The fire is 95% contained according to the US Forest Service. Air support is helping fire crews. There are no evacuations and no word yet on a cause. No structures have been lost.
Full containment has been reached after about 860 acres burned in a brush fire north of Hallelulah Junction in Lassen County west of Highway 395 and north of US 70. The Poslin Fire broke out August 6th. It was started by lightning.
