The intersection of Liberty Street and Holcomb Avenue was the scene of a vehicle vs pedestrian accident last night. A woman was hit by a car while in the crosswalk just before 8:30. The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with police. It does not appear that alcohol or drugs are a factor. Police originally released that the woman was in critical condition at a local hospital, but are now saying her injuries are not as severe as initially reported.
