University of Nevada College Republicans have also released a statement about the “Alt-Right” violence in Virginia, since one of the groups members, Peter Cvjetanovich was identified as a participant. The group says, “The values expressed by the participants of the riots are not reflective of our organization, and that those dangerous beliefs will never have a place in the College Republicans or at the University of Nevada.” President Bethanie Cooper called the events in Virginia “Hateful and bigoted.”
