A pilot is out of the hospital after his plane flipped while landing on the runway at the Yerington Municipal Airport. The plane hit some soft soil on the edge of the runway and overturned. It happened around 9 a.m., Thursday. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says rescue crews had to lift the plane off the pilot, but his injuries were not serious.
