State Senator Nicole Cannizzaro released a statement on the news that Republicans have started an effort to recall her. She says it is the greatest honor of her life to be elected to serve. The career prosecutor says she’s gone after the worst criminals in our state, making sure we put rapists and violent offenders behind bars. Adding “I’m confident the voters of District 6 will have my back.” She says “Shady special interests and cowardly legislators behind this subversion of the recall process don’t intimidate her one bit.”
