Washoe County Commissioner Kitty Jung believes that art is so important to our area that she’s covering the cost with money from her district to light up the Space Whale for one year. She’s giving $9000 from her Special District Funds to pay the electrical bills for the stained glass artwork at Reno City Art Plaza, which was lit up in a ceremony Friday night.
