A wildfire that broke out in the Six Mile Canyon area Friday is now 90% contained. Full containment is expected tonight. The fire is burning in a remote area, and no structures are threatened. Firefighters were on scene throughout the night and say the fire has scorched nearly 200 acres. There is no word yet on the cause. Officials have reopened Six Mile Canyon Road. Resources from Storey County, Nevada Division of Forestry, and the BLM are all on scene.
