Hard Landing at Minden-Tahoe Airport

A helicopter made a hard landing Sunday afternoon at the Minden-Tahoe Airport, but according to the FAA none of the four people on board were injured. The Bell 206B helicopter lost control while landing and hit a barbed wire fence at around 12:30 p.m. There was damage to the tail rotor and vertical fin. The helicopter is listed in the FAA database as being registered to Helicopter Parts International of Minden. The FAA is investigating the incident.
