The Truckee Police Department has arrested four Bay Area men, suspected of stealing over $125,000 dollars worth of high end bikes and bike parts from Tahoe City, Squaw Valley, and Carson City since July of this year. 25-year-old Jesus Gallardo, 23-year-old Sergio Gallardo, 27-year-old Martin Gallardo and 29-year-old Juan Carlos Gallardo were all seen casing a location, that had been previously ripped off in Truckee, inside a vehicle matching the description of one seen in surveillance video at a prior crime scene. The four suspects have allbeen charged with grand theft, criminal conspiracy, and possession of stolen property. San Francisco law enforcement found many of the bikes and bike parts during their investigation, but are asking people who’ve had their bikes taken in those areas to reach out to them after they process all the evidence they’ve collected, which may take a couple of days.
