The nearly 9,000 attendees of the American Legion Convention in Reno got a chance to hear the President talk about veterans issues Wednesday. President Donald Trump was the guest of honor at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, and said, during his campaign, he promised to do more for the military, and his team has been exploring some new technology being developed now that will help.
Following his speech at the American Legion, President Trump signed the Veterans Appeals Improvement and Modernization Act which passed the Senate unanimously earlier this month, which will “streamline the lengthy process that veterans undergo when appealing their claims for disability benefits with the VA.
