Crews knocked down a wildfire that sparked Saturday near Winnemucca Ranch Road in the Palomino Valley area. Sierra Front says the Shooting Range Fire burned just under eight acres. Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and the Bureau of Land Management air and ground resources assisted with the fire.
