The 12 mile USA Parkway Project had a ribbon cutting Monday. The project connects US 50 and Interstate 80. It will be a key traffic connector for those who work at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center. The project is ahead of schedule by about three months, and is reportedly under budget. Governor Brian Sandoval calls it another notch in the timeline of turning vision into reality adding, “Nevada’s potential is limitless.” The ribbon cutting was ceremonial, the highway won’t be open for traffic until early next month.
