Update: Police Have Arrested Two Armed Burglary Suspects

 

Update: Police have arrested 20 year old Hugh Olhin of Reno, and 23 year old Aaron Spittel of Washoe County. They’re the suspects in a Sparks armed burglary investigation. About 12:40 Monday afternoon, two thieves broke into a home on the 2100 block of Burrows Court in northwest Sparks. The pair were caught on surveillance video, with one of the suspects chambering a round in a semi-automatic handgun. No one was home at the time, the pair left with stolen guns and ammunition. Both were booked into Washoe County Jail for Burglary, Grand Larceny, and two counts of Grand Larceny of a Firearm. The stolen firearms were recovered.

Sparks Police are searching for two suspects connected to an armed residential burglary, on Burrows Court, near Sullivan Lane. According to police, the burglary happened yesterday just after noon. Video surveillance captured the suspects burglarizing the home. In the video, one of the men is seen holding a semi-automatic handgun. The suspects stole several firearms and ammunition. Police describe the first suspect as a white man in his late 20’s with dark hair, a beard, and around 6-feet tall. The second suspect is also described as being in his 20’s, 5’6 to 5’8.
