Henderson Lifting It’s Moratorium on Recreational Marijuana

Henderson is lifting it’s moratorium against recreational marijuana. It had been in place since February. The city is on track for five dispensaries selling legal weed, and as many as a dozen cultivation and testing facilitiues will begin operations. The first sales could happen in October. Marijuana sales are expected to bring in a million dollars next year in tax revenue, and more than 5 million a year by 2021.
