Washoe County Deputies say a man was taken into custody shortly after running from a traffic stop in Reno Wednesday afternoon. Nathan Allen Helmer-Martin was wanted for an alleged parole violation. He stopped his vehicle along Interstate 80 at McCarran Boulevard and ran away, prompting several law enforcement officers, police dogs and RAVEN helicopter to search for him. A deputy found him hiding and Helmer-Martin was arrested without a fight.
