The Reno/Sparks Association of Realtors released its August 2017 report on existing home sales in Washoe County. The report listed the median sales price for an existing single family residence in Washoe County in August at $349,500; an increase of 13 percent from August 2016 and a 2 percent decrease from July 2017. Reno’s median sales price was $362,000; an 11 percent increase from August 2016, and a 7 percent decrease from July 2017. The Sparks median sales price n August 2017 was $329,000; a 22 percent increase from last year in August 2016 and a 6 percent increase from July 2017. John Graham the RSAR President says unit sales in August reached a record high for the month of August at 678.
