Eight members of the Nevada Air National Guard are headed off to support Hurricane Irma relief. Members of the 152nd Airlift Wing flew out of the Nevada Air National Guard base in Reno for Meridian, Mississippi. They will provide video downlinks for RC-26 aircraft, a manned reconnaissance plane for damage assessment and search-and-rescue operations. Guard officials don’t know how long they will be deployed.
