One outbuilding was destroyed in a lightning-sparked fire last night. Witnesses reported seeing a lightning strike hit a power line around 7:00 in the area of Silva Ranch Road and Bitterbrush Road in the Mogul area. The fire quickly spread, and the outbuilding was engulfed when fire crews arrived. TMFPD Fire Chief Charlie Moore said the flames damaged another outbuilding, but firefighters were able to keep the flames away from surrounding homes. The fire was contained to half an acre.
