Nevada Governor Urges Senate to Drop Latest “Repeal and Replace.”

Governor Brian Sandoval is asking Senate Leaders to drop the Cassidy-Graham-Heller repeal and replace bill. In a letter to senate leadership, the Governor asked them to focus on a bipartisan effort instead. The Governors statement says in part, ““I know that Senator Heller is working in the best interest of the state and I appreciate the intended flexibility created in the Graham-Cassidy-Heller amendment which would distribute healthcare funding via block grants.” But he also says the framework authored by bipartisan Governors is the best path to improve the healthcare system.
