Reno Police say they’ve arrested four suspects following two attempted robberies and a shooting in downtown Reno Tuesday afternoon. Police say that at about 2:30 officers were called to the area of First Street and Center Street to the report of a shooting. They found a victim suffering from a single gunshot wound, believed not to be life-threatening. The victim and witnesses gave a description of four persons running from the scene. Police say they found four suspects a short time later, and, after a short pursuit, all four were captured and arrested. A firearm, believed to have been used in the shooting was also located. Police say that during this investigation officers were called to a hotel on North Virginina Street where it was determined the same four suspects were believed to have attempted another robbery. Investigators say video evidence from both cases confirmed the suspects’ involvement in these incidents. Eighteen year old Lamont Caldwell and three juveniles have been charged with a variety of crimes including Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery and Attempted Armed Robbery.
