The Placer County Sheriff’s Office is asking for  help finding a suspect who is believed to have stolen a vehicle outside Bank of the West in Kings Beach on Sept. 8. It was found Sept. 9 in Truckee. The sheriff’s office described him as white, about 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet tall, about 170 pounds to 190 pounds, with red or light brown hair, a goatee (which may have been shaved off) and last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with Norway on it, gray pants and blue shoes. He’s also a suspect in other thefts. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective John Lasagna at 530-581-6320. Placer County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000.
