The Hot August Nights Foundation’s 2nd annual Classics & Cocktails benefit dinner hosted by the Atlantis is Saturday. Proceeds from the dinner will allow The Hot August Nights Foundation to fund youth scholarships and educational programs throughout Northern Nevada. The Foundation is the philanthropic branch of Hot August Nights. Executive Director Mike Whan says, “whether it be in educational scholarships, a school program that hasn’t received funding, or sweatshirts during the winter time to keep our kids warm, to diapers and wipes for the Family Shelter, The Foundation is there to provide those vital resources.” Classic & Cocktails starts with cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m. Dinner is at 7 p.m. Details at HotAugustNights.net.
