One Nevada Credit Union is again helping people get rid of old documents and protect their privacy. They’re hosting a free, community shred day today. Anyone can attend and safely dispose of up to three boxes of personal documents and papers. This is your opportunity to bring all your sensitive documents to be professionally destroyed on-site. The shred event is free, but One Nevada has partnered with local non-profit organization, SPCA of Northern Nevada, to collect donations of pet foods and supplies. SPCA of Northern Nevada will also have an information booth at the event and introduce pets up for adoption. Community Shred Day is at the One Nevada branch at 1296 East Plumb Lane.
