The Reno City Council unanimously approved authorization to award a contract for repairs at the the Temporary Overflow Shelter on Washington Street. The city will spend up to $318,000 in federal Community Development Block Grant Funds. The project includes the addition of two ADA compliant restroom facilities, sinks with hook-ups for washer/dryer, heating/cooling units and electrical panel and circuitry upgrades. The City says they have to bring the facility up to code.
