County Manager John Slaughter has promoted Dave Solaro, from Director of Community Services to new Assistant County Manager. Solaro’s areas of responsibility will include the Community Services Department, Regional Animal Services, Constituent Services and liaison to the District Health Board, the Regional Library System and Washoe County’s General Improvement Districts. The change is part of the office’s reorganization.
