Nevada Gaming Revenue Strong Again

Nevada’s gaming revenue grew by nearly 15 percent in August compared to the same month last year, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The Las Vegas strip was up more than 21 percent, and downtown Las Vegas was up 13 percent. In Reno, gaming revenue jumped nearly 12% percent, while Sparks was up 7.45 percent and North Lake Tahoe rose 10.39 percent; the rest of Washoe County was down 1.87 percent. South Lake Tahoe, Elko County and the Carson Valley were all up.
