Congresswoman Dina Titus is co-sponsor of a bill to ban “Bump stocks,” the device that attaches to the end of a long gun, that can make a semi automatic weapon, fire virtually full auto, using the guns recoil to keep pulling the trigger. Titus says the victims of the Las Vegas massacre don’t need an explanation about the difference between machine guns or fully automatic guns, they need action. Titus and supporters of the bill say the carnage of Las Vegas can’t become the new normal. Congressmember Ruben Kihuen and Jacky Rosen have also signed on.
