Sparks City Councilman Ron Smith has announced that he’s running for Mayor of Sparks, and has been endorsed by not only current Mayor Geno Martini, but is also backed by the entire Sparks City Council, and 4 out of 5 Washoe County Commissioners. Ron Smith has served as Mayor Pro-Temp for several years under Gino Martini, who plans to step down after his term ends.
