Victim Sues Mandalay Bay Resort Following Vegas Shooting

A woman, who was shot during the 1 October shooting in Las Vegas, has filed a lawsuit against the Mandalay Bay casino Resort, and it’s parent company, MGM Resorts International. The suit filed Monday by 21 year old Paige Gasper, who was shot in the chest and trampled by people running from the scene, says the casino was negligent because they allowed Stephen Paddock to stockpile guns in his room, and that the staff wasn’t trained properly to notice that kind of suspicious activity. Live Nation Entertainment Inc., who organized the concert, bump stock maker Slide Fire Solutions LP, and the estate of Stephen Paddock were also named in the lawsuit.
