NHP Hosts Vigil For Roadway Victims

In the past two years, 654 people lost their lives in traffic crashes on Nevada’s roadways. This number not only represents a tragedy in terms of the loss of life, but also in terms of the lasting effect a traffic crash can have on those who are left to grieve. Friday, the Nevada Highway Patrol will host a Candlelight Vigil in Reno. This event will honor the victims and offer support for their families, friends, and involved personnel and guests. This ceremony will be held at the Nevada Highway Patrol – Northern Command Office located at 357 Hammill Lane Reno. Parking will be available beginning at 5:00pm and the ceremony will begin at 6:00.
