The hazardous material that closed I-80 in both directions starting at about 530 Thursday morning was Ammonium Bisulfate. It was spilled in when the driver for Anderson Trucking fell asleep, rolled into the median, and the trailer seperated from the tractor and flipped. Ammonium Bisulfate is an inhalation hazard. The highway fully reopened about 1:45pm, and alternative routes were used to keep interstate traffic moving
