Reno Police are looking for the suspect connected with an armed robbery which happened Sunday in the 7500 block of North Virginia Street. They say the suspect went into a 7-Eleven just before midnight, picked up an item, walked up to the counter, pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was hurt. The suspect is described as either a Hispanic or Native American man between the ages of 20 to 30 years old. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket and a black hat. Reno Police are also investigating a similar armed robbery at the McCaren Mart on Stead and Lear Boulevard that happened around 1 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to call Secret Witness at 322-4900.
