A fire destroyed a workshop in Gardnerville Monday afternoon.  Firefighters were called about 4:30 to a property near the intersection of East Valley and Fish Springs Road, in the Sterling Ranch housing division. The building was engulfed in flames.  The workshop was about 2500 square feet and was not connected to the home.  East Fork fire crews simultaneously fought a small brush fire in the Dresslerville area; it was quickly contained. No cause has been determined.
