Congresswoman Jacky Rosen a member of the Problem Solvers Caucus, released the a statement after the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released their analysis of the Alexander-Murray bill, to stabilize the health insurance marketplace. According to the independent budget analysts, this bipartisan legislation would cut the federal deficit by $3.8 billion while keeping coverage stable. Says Rosen: “With President Trump purposefully working to undermine our nation’s health care system, Democrats and Republicans in Congress must take it upon ourselves to work with each other to stabilize health care markets.” She says this legislation will help keep coverage affordable for Nevada families while reducing the deficit.
