The resignation of Nevada’s chief medical officer Dr. John DiMuro was not related to the upcoming execution. Di Muro had to sign off on an untried three drug protocal and did, then abruptly resigned the job Monday. It’s a position he’s held for just a few months. But Dr. DiMuro says in a document submitted to the Attorney Generals Office  the resignation was completely unrelated to the execution by lethal injection planned for November 14th, which has been challenged by federal public defenders.
