With a storm approaching this weekend, sandbag stations have opened throughout Washoe County. You have to fill your own sandbag so  bring your own shovel. They’re available at Truckee Meadows Fire Station on Nectar Street in Lemmon Valley; at Lemmon Drive and Pompe Way intersection; Blue Heron Circle and Warrior Lane intersection, Belli Ranch; Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District Station on Old Hwy 395, in Washoe Valley; Truckee Meadows Fire Station on Eastlake Blvd; Washoe County Operations Yard, Longley Lane, Reno; Highland Ranch Parkway, one mile west of Pyramid Hwy; and Andrew Lane and Paddlewheel Lane intersection, Pleasant Valley.
