Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe is officially opening for the season Tuesday. They’re the first resort to do so in the Sierrs, and will offer the beginner ski trail accessed by the Wizard chairlift from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week. They continue to make snow, now that temperatures are dropping, and have a nice base built up on that run. The Lodgepole Café and Timbers Bar will be open daily in the Main Lodge, but equipment rentals and ski lessons won’t be offered until more terrain is opened.
