A 17 year old girl who was hit by a vehicle last Friday, near Stead and Lear in Reno, has died from her injuries. The incident occurred around 7pm when witnesses say several people were seen crossing Stead Boulevard outside of a marked crosswalk, when a southbound vehicle hit the girl. Because the girl was a juvenile, her name is being withheld. Investigators don’t believe that drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash, and they’re still trying to gather evidence in this case.
