South Lake Tahoe is on Flood Watch

National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the greater Lake Tahoe region that’s in effect through Thursday night. The service says an moderate to strong atmospheric river is moving through the area, bringing lots of rain, and could cause creeks and streams to rise and possibly flood. If you live on the South Shore, you can get sandbags at the city public works yard located at 1160 Rufus Allen Boulevard and at the SLT Fire Rescue Station #3 at 2101 Lake Tahoe Boulevard.
