The Washoe County Sheriff’s office has called off its search for a woman who was reportedly calling for help on Rattlesnake Mountain last night. According to Washoe County Sheriff’s spokesman Bob Harmon, deputies were called to the scene around 5:45 after reports of a woman hiking with a flashlight, calling out for help. Deputies, Search and Rescue volunteers, and RAVEN helicopter assisted in the search. The search was called off just before 9:30pm after deputies found no evidence of a person needing help.
