Two Men Facing Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

Two men have been arrested on drug charges in Gardnerville. Sunday Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Raab Court for a report of a suspicious vehicle with people in it. A deputy saw a car matching the description leaving the area and stopped the driver for what the deputy says were traffic violations. After a warrants check, a passenger identified as 45-year-old Patrick MacRoberts of South Lake Tahoe was arrested for two warrants. After a search of the vehicle, the driver, 34-year-old Clinton Neely of Gardnerville, was arrested for Trafficking in Methamphetamine , Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving without Tail Lights and No Driver’s License in Possession. MacRoberts also was charged with Trafficking in Cocaine and Possession of Heroin.
