One of seven teenagers injured in a rollover crash Nov. 9 in Kings Canyon in Carson City has died.
16 year old Timothy Jones died Sunday. He was a Carson High School student and the school has made grief counselors available to students. Seven teenagers were in a sports utility vehicle when it rolled west of Kings Canyon Road near Longview Way. Five were not wearing seat belts. All were 16 or 17 years old. The community has held vigils and fundraisers for the injured. A Go Fund Me page has raised $53,520 of its $55,000 goal to help the injured. Two of the teenagers are still hospitalized with serious injuries.
